A Little Something For Everyone

I am more than THRILLED that the Yellow Tree Theatre has asked me to design their posters and mailers for all of next seasons shows! I feel so blessed to have this amazingly creative opportunity! After their next show, The Last 5 Years, they are going to be showcasing a series of 10 minute plays in an "unforgettable evening of theatre packed with hilarious, fantastical and poignant new plays featuring the work of two-time Heideman Award winner Marco Ramirez, Jayme McGhan, and Yellow Tree founders Jessica Lind and Jason Peterson." I just know this is going to be an absolute must see!

I designed the poster and mailer around the idea that the "spotlight" (literally the way the background of the poster fades into white) centers around the idea that the festival is "a little something for everyone." When prospective audience members see the poster I am hoping to evoke in them excitement about what the possibilities of an evening at the Yellow Tree Theatre Short Play Festival will hold!

Invitation Set

Check out Katie and Sean's wedding invitations! Katie is one of my best friends little sisters and she is getting married in May. The bridesmaids dresses are this incredible shade of deep pink and the flowers are going to be multicolored tulips...it's going to be an absolutely stunning wedding!

Yellow Tree Theatre

I had the opportunity to design a poster and mailer for the Yellow Tree Theatre in Osseo, MN. A good friend, Mary, is directing the musical and it's going to be a show to see! It's a fresh and contemporary musical from Tony-Award winning composer Jason Robert Brown, The Last Five Years chronicles a young couples romance from beginning to heart-breaking end. She, telling her story backwards, and he beginning on the day they met, the shows unconventional structure coupled with its emotionally powerful music allows for a surprising and extraordinary theatre experience! Check out www.yellowtreetheatre.com for ticket details!

Logo Design

My girlfriend Christina just re-branded herself and her photography business, launched a new web site, and I designed the logo for her! A big "CM" is always included in her signature and has been a part of her "branded look" as far back as I can remember. I wanted the "chrissie marie" and "photograper" to compliment each other well but be able to stand alone. And yes, Christina already had her pink color picked out per the exact HTML color code! Love her!! She's a great photographer, check out her images at www.chrissiemariephotography.com!
